 Event/Horizons - performance + QR-utställning på Tensta Dansar 2022

Event/Horizons - Stockholm is a Q(a)R(T) exhibition and a QR Performance. Live       performance, remote dialogue and audience participation are embedded in the exhibition. An opportunity for the audience to be involved in shaping something that we didn't know existed. An exploration of next-generation methodology.

In the Q(a)R(T) exhibition, participants meet dance artists from different parts of       the world using their mobile phones and headphones.

Background QR performance:

For 13 months, Tanja Tuurala, Stockholm and Harpa Dögg Kjartansdóttir, Reykjavik had an online process entitled 13 Exchanges, where they used digital technology as a tool for their process. 13 Exchange's online process consisted of an exchange of movements and image and form material. The exchange was based on an openness to each other's ideas and direction.

QR performance is now in a new phase of Tanja and Harpa's process.

13 Exchange's process can be viewed here: www.eventhorizons2021.com

Participating artist in: Event/Horizons with 13 Exchanges in collaboration with Harpa Dögg Kjartansdóttir

13 Exchanges is a process based collaboration between a choreographer, dancer and a visual artist. It is an online dialogue. We rethink, remake and restructure. We are influencing and being influenced. To follow and participate in our project: www.eventhorizons 2021.com enter the cities of Stockholm or Reykjavik.

Event/horizons opens up a different kind of space to nurture our practices by seeking alternative modes to connect the local and the global, inviting communities to rethink the role of arts in the current challenges posed by an ongoing pandemic. The project aims to offer a space to build resilience for artists through the collaborative enterprise nature of the project.

Collaborator in: One of the participating artists in 1[-1] Materiality of Exile by Ana Sánchez-Colberg, Theatre en Corps

1[-1]: Materiality of Exile is the next in the series of works by Ana Sánchez-Colberg using prime numbers to generate compositional rules to create new forms of collaborative and participatory contemporary performance. The works defy categorization as they bring together elements of fine and visual art, audio composition, movement, photography and film, live documentation to generate site-specific works that question the relationship between art institutions, the ‘art-object’ and the subjects involved in the creation and reception.
